Transport
There is no airport in Lausanne, but there are direct trains to the Lausanne-CFF train station from the Geneva airport (40min.) and the Zurich airport (2h30); if you come from the Basel airport (2h40), there will be train change. Click here to access to the swiss railway web site.
The Lausanne University is 10 minutes far from the city center with the tramway m1.
If you are coming from the city center, go directly to the Lausanne-Flon station, and then take the m1 (direction: Renens Gare). If you are coming from the train station, you can take the underground m2 to Lausanne-Flon, and then the m1.

Eating
The Conference takes in charge the lunch and the dinner for the registred participants during the Conference. We will have lunch at the University restaurant.

Tourist information
Lausanne is a quite small city of 130’000 people situated by the lakeside. You can easily visit it by walking. From the city center (Place Saint-François), you are only 5 minutes walking from the train station, 10 minutes walking from the Cathedral and the old town, and 10 minutes far from the University with the tramway.
