2012-2
Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,
Since the beginning of the year, we are following the list of goals and actions approved by the Founding Assembly. First, the number of ESVDC members is steadily increasing and an updated list of e-mail addresses is available on request (luisa.megliovallat@unil.ch). Second, our website is now fully operational (www.esvdc.org). You will find attached to this message a document with your user-id and password giving access to the discussion platforms on this website.
The coordination with the NICE-Erasmus network was confirmed a month ago in Jyväskylä and a request for a grant has been addressed to the EU in Brussels. And finally, you will also find an invitation to submit proposals for the ESVDC-Award before August 1st 2012, attached to this message. We are proud to say, that our first group of goals and actions has thereby been fully realized !
Among work in progress, the creation of a marketplace for research projects and job or exchange opportunities for young researchers and establishing relations with other associations, institutions or policymakers are under way. We also kindly invite you to propose anytime to our secretariate any relevant books, articles or videos for our website…
Our General Assembly 2012 will take place at the University of Heidelberg on Wednesday October 3rd, 2012 starting at 13 :00 at the Institut für Bildungswissenschaft, Akademiestrasse 3. We will attribute the ‘2012 European Award for Distinguished Contributions to Vocational Designing and Career Counseling’ and organize a presentation of European research centers in our disciplines.
The General Assembly 2013 will take place during the International Conference on « Building Hope and Resilience through Life-Designing » in June 2013 at the University of Padova (I).
Looking forward to the General Assembly 2014 in Paris (F) during the ICAP Conference on July 8-13th, we plan to present ESVCD as an innovative, dynamic and creative scientific community. Your Executive Committee would invite you to actively prepare this opportunity. In particular, we might create a selection of short video conferences* to spread our ideas…
