On several occasions, Shirin Ebadi has criticized the behaviour of Western multinational corporations in Iran, accusing some of them of being accomplices with the regime
of Mahmud Ahmadinejad. In her lecture at the University of Lausanne, she will elaborate on her critique of the nexus between private business and political repression.
The lecture will be followed by drinks.
