Workshop for young researchers taking place on January 27th to February 1st 2013.
Goal
Give young researchers the opportunity to present their findings in a friendly environment, to meet and speak to researchers in other disciplines working on similar topics and to receive feedback from a few well-known experts in their field about the relevance of their work both in academia and practice
Targeted audience
Young researchers (PhD students and researchers, academics, practitioners within 5 years after PhD) across disciplines, such as actuarial science, demography, insurance, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, biology, economics.
Structure
The structure of the Winter School will consist in opening experts presentations (45 min), contributed talks (20 to 30 min) by participating young researchers, followed by pannel discussions.

Registration fee
The registration fee is set at CHF 475 per participant. The fee includes:
- Accommodation from Sunday January 27th to Friday February 1st 2013
- Breakfast from Monday to Friday
- Lunch from Monday to Friday
- Dinner from Monday to Thursday
- Excursion on Wednesday afternoon
