This is the annual PhD student retreat of the population genomics program. Many current and future stars in population genomics, including you, will present their work and spend a prolonged weekend in the Swiss Alps.
Friday afternoon starts with a talk about methodological approaches in population genomics, followed by two student talks and a poster session in the evening.
On Saturday there will be six talks given by the professionals and plenty of time for discussion. The day will be complete after a social quiz evening.
Sunday is reserved for winter sports. The area offers hiking, skiing, sledding, ice skating, paragliding and snowboarding. It is possible to stay until Monday to rest tired brains and legs.
This meeting will give you time and opportunities to talk about your work and exchange your ideas and burning questions with other students in the same field, as well as experienced specialists who will all be stuck with you in a little village for three days.
